Night Skiing at Beaver Mountain
Beaver Mountain night operations feature lit runs accessible via the Little Beaver Lift and a magic carpet surface lift, with convenient access to the lodge, rental shop, and lessons. This setup ensures a fun and accessible experience for skiers and snowboarders of all levels.
Lift Tickets and Pricing
For public nights, lift passes are available at affordable rates:
- Monday through Thursday: $15 per person, regardless of age.
- Friday and Saturday: $20 per person.
For private groups, there is a minimum requirement of 100 lift passes, which translates to a total minimum guarantee:
- Monday - Thursday: $1500 (including lodge rental).

The contracted group is responsible for covering any outstanding balance if the minimum numbers are not met. Every person riding the lift must have a valid lift pass.

Beginner Lessons
Beginner group lessons are offered for those who have never skied or snowboarded. Lessons run for 1-1/2 hours and begin promptly at 6:00 PM.
- Minimum Age: 7 for ski lessons, 9 for snowboarding lessons.
- Cost: $15 per lesson (non-refundable and must be paid at the time of reservation).
Reservations are required for lessons due to limited class sizes. You can make reservations by calling the Mountain Snowsports School at 435-946-3610 ext. 2. To allow for proper staffing, reservations must be made by noon the day before your party.
If spots remain in the class, you may sign up for a lesson the night of the party for $20 (based on availability). Instructors are scheduled based on the number of reservations. If no reservations are made, no instructors will be available for lessons.

Lodge Amenities
The lodge price is included in your lift pass. The lodge will be open for enjoying, mingling, and warming up during night skiing. Dining Options
During public night events, the Beaver Mountain Café is open for dinner, snacks, or hot cocoa. The Café is generally closed during private contract evenings, but you may request it to be open with a guaranteed minimum of $250 in sales. You can choose to have the full menu available or specific items. Any shortage of the minimum will be the responsibility of the contracted group.
Catering is also available through the Beaver Mountain Café and Off-Premise Catering. The Beaver Mountain Grill will not be open during private events. Many groups bring their own dinners, potlucks, donuts, and hot cocoa.
Important Note: Due to Health Department requirements, the public is not permitted in the commercial kitchen. Groups who bring their own food will not have access to any part of the kitchen, including water and cleanup. There are plenty of outlets around the lodge for crockpots and warmers.

Lift Operation Hours
Planning a ski day at Beaver Creek? Knowing when the lifts open can help you get a head start on the slopes and make the most of your mountain experience. During the ski season, the lifts at Beaver Creek Resort generally open at 9:00 AM and close at 4:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to explore the terrain.
Night skiing (3 pm onwards) is available all season long on all days night skiing is offered, including on the restricted dates listed above.
Base Areas and Lifts
Beaver Creek has multiple base areas and lifts to get you started. Here’s a quick guide:
- Centennial Express Lift (Lift #6): Located in Beaver Creek Village, this lift is one of the primary access points to the mountain and opens at 9:00 AM.
- Bachelor Gulch Express (Lift #16): If you’re staying in Bachelor Gulch, this lift will be your starting point.
- Lower Beaver Creek Mountain Express (Lift #15): Located in Avon, this lift provides an alternative base area for accessing the slopes, opening at 9:00 AM.
Tips for an Early Start
If you plan to rent equipment or need time to find parking, try to arrive by 8:00 AM or earlier. If you get there early, start your day with a quick breakfast at one of the cafes in Beaver Creek Village, so you’re fueled up and ready for the slopes. The first hour after lifts open is often the least crowded, and you’ll have the best chance to enjoy fresh powder and smooth groomers before the slopes get busier.
First Tracks Program
On select days, Beaver Creek offers a First Tracks program, allowing early risers exclusive access to the slopes before the lifts open to the public.
Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a first-time visitor, Beaver Creek’s slopes and scenic beauty offer an unforgettable experience. Beaver Creek offers the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience.
