Personal Life
Arthur L. Smith passed away on February 12, 2024, after a brief illness. He was 89 years old. He met his wife Martha Plumpton on a blind date while at college and enjoyed 55 years of marriage until her passing in 2013. He is survived by his children, Andrew J. Smith and his wife Katie MacBride-Smith of Brewster, MA. Eric L. Smith of Harwich, MA and Caroline M.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 1 - 4 pm at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653. Burial will be private.
