Epic Pass: Unlock Unmatched Value and Access
The 2025-26 Epic Pass options are now available to purchase. “Epic Pass was created to unlock access to incredible mountain resorts at an unmatched value for skiers and riders,” said Courtney Goldstein, Chief Marketing Officer for Vail Resorts. The Epic Pass offers skiers and snowboarders unlimited, unrestricted access to 19 mountain resorts, including world-class destinations like Whistler Blackcomb, Vail, Breckenridge and Park City, plus additional access to 46 more throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. The Epic Pass is the only multi-resort pass to offer significant access to European resorts.
Epic Local Pass: The Epic Local Pass ($799 adults; $416 children) provides season-long access to 29 resorts, plus access to more destination resorts with some restrictions.

Enhancements for the 2025/26 Season
Heavenly Resort will continue with a reservation-based parking system for winter 2025/2026. Kirkwood Mountain Resort plans to open for the 2025-26 winter season on Friday, December 5, 2025.
My Epic Gear - The Ultimate Gear Membership
Coming back for the 2025/26 season is a membership program called “My Epic Gear,” which provides access to high-quality ski and snowboard equipment and premium valet services. My Epic Gear is a brand new gear membership that provides all the benefits of owning gear, but with more choice, lower cost, and no hassle. My Epic Gear memberships are now available for adults and children to use at 12 North American resorts in the 2024/25 winter season.
Mobile Pass and Lift Tickets on the My Epic App
Mobile Pass and Mobile Lift Ticket technology will be available to guests on the My Epic app. With this technology, guests can store their pass directly on their phone, put it in their pocket, and get scanned hands-free via Bluetooth® Low Energy technology. It will also help reduce plastic and RFID chip waste.

Epic Friend Tickets
All eligible Passes come with six Epic Friend Tickets. In addition, guests who purchased an eligible season-long Pass on or before April 14, 2025, will receive an extra four Epic Friend Tickets. *80+/90+ & Tot Passes do not receive Epic Friend Tickets. No, Epic Day Pass is not eligible for Epic Friend Tickets.
For the 2025/26 winter season, Epic Friend tickets will replace and significantly upgrade Buddy Tickets, a former Pass benefit that generally offered much lower savings on lift tickets and varied by resort. Pass Holders who purchased on or before May 27, 2025 will be able to redeem two Ski With A Friend Tickets in addition to their six Epic Friend Tickets. Epic Military Pass Holders will have all their Ski With A Friend Tickets upgraded to Epic Friend Tickets.
How do Epic Friend Tickets compare to Ski With A Friend Tickets? Ski With A Friend Tickets are discounted single day lift tickets that offer slight savings compared to the standard advance lift ticket discount. Epic Friend Tickets can be used at any of Vail Resorts’ 37 North American destinations.

Events and Activities
Heavenly is Open! This is the 70th anniversary season at Heavenly. Upcoming events include the Toyota Air and Après event, tentatively scheduled for February 27 - March 1, which promises an action-packed experience. The resort will construct an impressive 45-foot jump at the base of a World Cup trail. Expect professional athletes to astound with their gravity-defying tricks under the mountain’s illuminated night sky.
For those seeking a different experience, Brews and Views will offer monthly gatherings beginning in December at Lakeview Lodge.
