Season Passes: Unlimited Access and Benefits
For those planning to visit Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe multiple times during the season, a season pass is often the most economical choice. A season pass typically pays for itself after just a few days on the mountain, offering the best lift ticket price and a range of additional benefits.
With the 67 slopes and 8 lifts, ski pass holders have a lot to get excited about for the upcoming ski season. Get a Mt. Rose season pass and ride one of the first resorts to open-and one of the last to close-every year. From opening day until summer, squeeze the most out of the season with the Premier Pass.

- Premier Pass: No restrictions, no void dates.
- Value Pass: Valid most days, with some holiday void dates.
- Select Pass: Valid one selected mid-week day, ideal for those with weekday flexibility.
All season pass holders must sign the waiver before loading a chair lift each season.

Daily Lift Tickets: Flexibility and Savings
Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe also offers daily lift tickets for those who prefer a more flexible option. Daily Lift Tickets for the 2025-2026 ski season vary depending on whether you buy your lift ticket before the season starts, during the peak season or at the end of the season. Some ski resorts offer dynamic lift ticket pricing, which means the price changes depending on the time of year and how far in advance you buy the lift ticket.

- Extend your weekend: Present a lift ticket from the previous Saturday or Sunday and receive a significant discount on your ticket for that Monday*. *This offer is only valid for Monday after your weekend visit.
- Discounted Tickets for Hospitality Workers: For all those who spread the good word about Mt. Rose off the mountain (employees of restaurants / lodging / airlines / bars* etc.).. You can get a well-deserved, discounted day at the mountain. Present a check stub, work ID, or current business card at the ticket window on MONDAYS to get your discounted lift ticket. *Tickets must be used on Mondays, the same day as the purchase.
- Two’fer Tuesdays: Grab a friend and hit the mountain together! Get two lift tickets for the price of one lift ticket on Tuesdays.** Purchase online in advance or at any ticket window on the day of. **Two’fer offer only valid on Tuesdays. Both tickets must be used that day only - 2nd ticket is not valid for a different day (this is NOT a multi-day product). Offer does not apply to Tyke lift tickets or in combination with any other offer. Two’fer must apply to “like-priced” lift tickets (ex. two adults). - Ladies’ Day Thursdays: Discounted lift tickets ($79) for ladies on Thursdays - Purchase online in advance or at any ticket window the day of. - Discounted PM Half-Day Lift Tickets: After 12:00 pm on Fridays (non-holidays). Purchase online in advance or at any ticket window on the day of. Online rates may vary from ticket window rates, so buy online in advance for the best deal.
- Locals’ Sunday: Reno, Tahoe, Truckee - your backyard mountain is calling. Show your local ID and ride for less every Sunday. Local ID required for redemption - must show that your home residence is within a 1-hour driving radius of Mt. Rose - Ski Tahoe. Online rates may vary from ticket window rates, so buy online in advance for the best deal.

Enhancing Your Mt. Rose Experience
RFID Technology:
Our lifts now feature access gates triggered by your valid RFID card, which you wear inside your jacket or pants. This new system makes your Mt. Rose experience more convenient than ever.

RFID Guidelines:
- DO Wear your pass in the pocket of your jacket or pants.
- DON’T Carry more than one Mt. Rose pass through the lift access gates.
- DON’T Carry another resort pass or other RFID pass with you.

Additional Tips:
- Use your RFID pass to purchase food at any food and beverage location or 431 Sports.
- Reload your ticket online - Scan the QR code on the back of your ticket and reload it for your next visit using our dynamic calendar.
Upgrade your lift ticket: At the end of your day, bring your lift ticket to our Guest Services and apply the lift ticket cost towards purchasing a season pass. *Pass must be a valid pass for the day of your purchase.

Change of plans? Request a Refund - Please fill out the reservation refund request form by following the link below. Please request a REFUND in the notes. If you want to change the date of your ticket, hold on to your ticket and bring it to the Guest Services office the day you would like to ski and we will make the change for you at that time.
