Rental Locations at Snowshoe Mountain
With multiple slopeside rental locations around the mountain, the best strategy for picking up your equipment is to head to the one closest to your lodging.
- Expedition Station Rentals: If you’re staying in or around the Village or in the North Mountain area, head to Expedition Station Rentals, located right beside the Skidder slope.
- Top of the World Rentals: For those lodging in the South Mountain area (Top of the World, Soaring Eagle, Sanctuary, etc.) head to Top of the World Rentals, located just about 30 yards from the top of the Soaring Eagle lift.
If at any point during your time on the slopes you have an issue with your equipment or would like to make an adjustment, you can stop in at any of our rental locations. One of our expert technicians will get you fixed up, so you’ll be back on the snow quickly.

We’ve teamed up with the Ski Barn - located at the bottom of Snowshoe WV - to offer our guests 15% off of Snowshoe WV ski rentals and snowboard equipment. Our discount is valid at both of their Snowshoe WV locations and is our recommended method for saving a few bucks during your trip to Snowshoe. The Ski Barn is located at the bottom of the Mountain, while their sister store - SnowCreek Mountain Sports - is located mid-mountain near the entrance to Silver Creek.
Elk River has been serving snowboarders longer than anyone else in West Virginia with two locations to serve your needs. Elk River stores also offer accessories and clothing our customers want so you can get the most out of your time on the snow. We carry boards from Gnu, Lib Tech, Capita, Jones and Arbor. All of our performance decks are rented with strap bindings and are maintained by our knowledgeable professional staff.

Try it before you buy it at the Mountain Adventure Center, or the “MAC” as we call it, located near the top of the Ballhooter lift. Whether you are a first-timer, an all-mountain ripper, or taking turns with your family, we've got you covered head-to-toe.
Getting Fitted
Can’t wait to hit the slopes? We understand. That’s why our friendly shops get you properly fitted on quality equipment quickly. After you complete the rental form, our staff will get you properly fitted for your boots and then set your skis or board accordingly. Bringing your own boots? No problem, just bring one boot inside with you so our professional staff can accurately set your skis.
