  • Public Skating: Public Skating, also known as “Open Skate”, is a great activity for skaters of all ages to hit the ice and skate with their families and friends!
  • Stick Time: Stick Time sessions are open to players and parents who’re looking for practice time on the ice. These sessions are perfect for those looking to improve their stick handling, skating, and passing. Full equipment is strongly recommended, but a helmet and gloves ARE required.
  • Drop-In Hockey: Drop-In Hockey is open to all hockey players 16 years or older. These sessions are great for pickup games, stick and shoot, or just passing the time with your friends. It’s also a great way to meet new players from around the area.
  • Learn to Skate: NCRC offers Learn to Skate classes throughout the year. These classes are for all ages, kids through adults, and are a great way to learn how to skate or improve your skills.
  • Freestyle Skating: Freestyle sessions are great times for figure skaters to hit the ice to keep their skills sharp or set up lessons with a certified coach. Admission is $10/hr, and punch cards with added value are available. The use of protective equipment is highly encouraged (helmets, knee/elbow pads, athletic supporters, etc.).
