Here's a breakdown of the different types of skating activities available at The River's Edge:
- Public Skate: Open to anyone.
- Freestyle: For skaters to work on routines and/or take skating lessons. Private ice skating lessons are not allowed during public skating sessions.
- Stick & Puck: For working on hockey skills - a helmet and gloves are required. No pick-up hockey games or private lessons are permitted.
- Private Rental: The ice is already booked, and no public skating is allowed during this time.
Riverside Park Lagoon
Ice skating is also permitted at Riverside Park Lagoon, as weather allows. The lagoon has a warming house and public restrooms that are open seasonally when conditions are favorable for ice skating. The ice skating rink is located in the parking lot across from Happy Joe’s.
