The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village (Bryant Park)
The Rink at Bank of America Winter Village is NYC’s largest free admission ice skating rink. If you own your own skates, you can ice skate for free. You must have a ticket to enter skating areas. If you are bringing your own skates please reserve a free “Bring Your Own Skates” ticket at the "Reserve Tickets" button above, ahead of your visit to the rink. We do not allow multiple skate sessions to be booked in a row. This allows us to accommodate as many skaters as possible each day. Our staff will accommodate you if possible per availability. The rink is generally open rain or shine. We may close the rink for severe weather.
Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Only a limited number of guardians and chaperones for younger children may accompany children in the skating areas. Space is limited! Skaters have priority at benches to put on and remove ice skates. Please note: due to space limitations, non-skating adults may not “babysit” items in the pavilion. Please utilize our bag check.
Zamboni skate aids are pushed by an adult only with a child under 4' tall sitting on the aid. Skate aids are available for purchase on site at the rink only. Availability is first come, first served. Yes, we have limited lockers available this year. Bring a lock, or buy one of ours onsite. There is no re-entry to the rink, so you must retrieve your items from the locker after your session. Currently Overlook is only available for events. Yes, you can rent Polar Lounge for birthday parties and special occasions, or Overlook for larger events.
Bryant Park offers packages for those who want to make their trip to the rink extra special. Please note: for the safety of our skaters, we cannot accommodate impromptu proposals on the ice. Bumper Cars on Ice will return to the park after the new year!
