Now that both my boys have worn Lands’ End winter clothing including parkas and snow pants, it would be very hard for me to consider anything else for them. These snow pants are a reliable choice for keeping kids warm and dry during the winter months.
Key Features and Benefits
While the waist is a bit big for Lucian, these snow pants have much of the same features that I have come to know and love from Lands’ End including snow gaiters at the hem to keep out snow and add additional warmth. The snow gaiters are particularly useful for keeping snow out of boots, ensuring extra warmth and dryness.
They also have double layered nylon knees and seat which is so important when they are wearing them day in and day out for school recess. The reinforced knees and seat enhance the durability of the pants, making them ideal for active kids.
I have found that this extends the wear another year which I really appreciate. This added durability ensures that the snow pants can withstand daily wear and tear, which extends their lifespan.
Fit and Adjustability
They are similar to our black pair from Lands’ End which Warren is currently wearing. The only thing I missed with these new pants was the velcro waist which allows me to get an even tighter fit than with the elastic alone. The elastic waist is a standard feature, providing a comfortable fit for most children.
