Mt. Baker Ski Area
It was a beautiful opening day on the mountain yesterday, so let's do it again today! There is more sun in the forecast with just a few wispy clouds rolling over that bluebird sky, so be ready for more epic views as you enjoy this beautiful weather. Temps should hover in that crisp, refreshing wintry 20 degree range, with light winds to keep things frosty and cool, but comfortable for cruising on the groomed trials.
Fresh corduroy was laid down last night by our grooming team, with two added runs! Be ready for first tracks and those 'first load of the season' selfies as we are firing up Illuminator (Chair 2) for the first time this season! We've added the runs of Upper Northwest and Skookum to the list of skiable terrain to enjoy even more endless laps. Please obey all rope lines as closures across the mountain, as early conditions still exist while we await more snow. It is highly suggested to stick to groomed runs. Night ski is delayed until we receive more snow. Stop in for a frosty brew at Lodge 2 to top off your second-day Sunday and celebrate opening weekend with us!
