Winter Park Adventure Quest offers a variety of exhilarating activities suitable for all ages and skill levels. Located at the Fraser Valley Sports Complex, just five minutes from the town of Winter Park, the park is home to soccer and baseball fields, a pond, picnic amenities, restrooms, and a history-inspired playground. Plan to bring a picnic and stay a while!
Location: Fraser Valley Sports Complex (5 minutes from the town of Winter Park). From Winter Park: Take Highway 40 north past the town of Fraser one mile; turn left on County Road 5 and take your first right into the Fraser Valley Sports Complex.
Aerial Adventure Park
Find an aerial adventure just outside of Winter Park. More thrilling than a zip line, more exhilarating than an alpine slide-Winter Park Adventure Quest's two-story aerial adventure park/ropes course is a blast for weekend warriors, ninja warriors, or kids at heart. Our super-safe smart belay system lets participants guide themselves through a series of 24 obstacles on our aerial adventure park, plus a two-person 25-foot outdoor climbing wall. Challenge is what the course is all about; you decide which elements to tackle and how far to push yourself. One thing’s for sure-once you conquer this outdoor playground, you’ll walk out taller, braver and feeling on top of the world.
Walking tightropes, traversing cargo nets, swinging on ropes from platform to platform-all two stories high in the air? Time to bring out your inner American Ninja Warrior!
- Duration: Your reservation allows for a full 90 minutes of course time. We ask you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time.
- Equipment: Climbers hook into a state-of-the-art belay system that allows you to freely explore and play on 24 separate obstacles all set against a stunning mountain backdrop.
- Challenge Level: Our course is for everyone-from a friendly lower level to a jaw-dropping second story, you choose your level of challenge.
- Age Restrictions: Children 10 years old and younger have to have a paying chaperone (16 -year- old or older) or pay for an additional guide to take them around the course.
- Weight Restrictions: Min. 35lbs - Max. 330lbs. Maximum weight limit per person is 330lbs.
Guided Outdoor Rock Climbing Experience
Winter Park Adventure Quest is the only permitted rock climbing guide service in the Winter Park area, offering half-day guided rock climbing trips just minutes away from Winter Park. If you’re a problem solver, a cross trainer, the parents of unstoppable spider-monkey kids, a nature lover or wanting to bond with and see your teammates through fresh eyes, this is the activity for you. Always wanted to try climbing but not sure how to get started? Love indoor climbing but want to test your skills on the mountain? Let our experienced and encouraging guides lead you on a 3 hour rock climbing adventure in nearby Arapaho National Forest. Suitable for never-evers through intermediate climbers.

Why climb? It's a beautiful way to experience the Colorado outdoors. You'll challenge yourself, gain new skills, resilience- and muscle. Never climbed? No problem. Our experienced guides can cater to beginners or more experienced climbers.
You'll start your 3-hour adventure with a trip to one of our climbing sites, home to 45-foot rock outcroppings. All equipment is provided, and you'll get familiar with your gear and learn basic belaying, rappelling, knotcraft and climbing technique. Then it's time to hit the rock. Climbers choose routes to fit their comfort level, from friendly 5.5s to challenging 5.11s, taking turns climbing and belaying. Winter Park Adventure Quest's guided rock climbing trips are great for a gym climber ready to experience real rock, a high-adrenaline date, a team-building experience, or an adventure for the whole family-climbing trips are a great fit for kids as young as 5 and up.
Paintball
90 min of adrenaline and team building! Our Paintball Park offers a unique, outdoor activity. Ideal for small businesses to large Corporations, Bachelor parties or families. You can sprint, slide, and dive from bunker to bunker or watch your friends having blast. The reservation Includes Tippmann guns, masks, compressed air tanks, and referee.
2 hours of adrenaline rush! Come and play at the highest paintball field in the Rockies. Our large outdoor paintball field with natural bunkers and obstacles is available for groups and walk-ins. Paintball is great for Birthday parties, Bachelor parties or team building activity. We guarantee an epic adventure in a safe environment. Private session starts at starts at $550. The Drop-in starts at $50 per player.

Wilderness Survival Course: You’re lost in the Colorado Rockies. What could you do with an old soda can, your t-shirt and a piece of parachute cord? How about start a fire, purify water, and belay yourself safely across a ravine… and that’s just for starters. This three-hour course gives participants hands-on education in basic wilderness survival including navigation, shelter building, fire starting, edible plants and more. Cooperative projects like shelter building and rappelling create opportunities for strategy, consensus building and team bonding. Great for small corporate groups, families, guys/girls getaways and bridal parties.

Mountain Biking: Our mountain bike guides will take you through boundless trails with technical descents, dramatic downhill runs, wide open rail trails, and fast and fun singletrack. No experience needed. We serve beginner to advanced riders. The price includes the mtn bike.
Tubing: Whether you’re chasing speed, making family memories or getting the whole gang together, we’ve got the perfect way to have fun at the hill. Share a tube with a friend, family member or little one. Colorado Adventure Park is the only place you can double up! Experience tubing after dark with glowing lights and crisp mountain air. Not tubing? No problem! Our fire pit area is open and free for anyone who wants to warm up and soak up the mountain atmosphere. You’re also welcome to hang out in the warming hut! Grab a steaming cup of hot cocoa, beer or wine from our concessions, roast some s’mores (bring your own or grab a s’more kit from our concessions) and enjoy the view of riders flying down the hill.
