Farmington Hills Ice Arena: Hours, Admission, and Programs

The Farmington Hills Ice Arena is a 70,000 square-foot facility that offers a wide range of skating opportunities for both recreational and competitive skaters. Located at 35500 W., the arena features two ice surfaces and a seating capacity of 1,200 people. The facility also includes concession facilities, locker rooms, lockers, meeting and party rooms, as well as administrative offices.

Programs and Activities

Skaters can enjoy a variety of programs at the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, including:

The Farmington Hills Learn to Skate program is designed to teach skaters of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced freestyle skaters. Qualified coaches provide instruction in a positive, fun, and safe environment. The Farmington Hills Figure Skating Club (FHFSC) is a non-profit organization that operates under the guidance of the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). FHFSC offers booster and full memberships to meet the needs of every figure skater. In addition to hosting USFSA test sessions and an annual Basic Skills Competition, FHFSC partners with the City of Farmington Hills to jointly present the annual Ice Show.

Admission and Hours

Pricing at The Rink at Campus Martius Park ranges from $9 for kids to $12 for adults. Discounts are available for seniors and military/first responders. Skate rentals are $6 each.

Tickets for Buhr Park Ice Arena are $6 for adults and $5 for seniors and youth ages 3-17. Kids 3 and under are free. Skate rentals are $3, and sharpening is available for an additional cost.

There is no cost for admission for The Rink at Grand Circus Park, and a limited number of skates are also available to borrow at no cost.
