Check out the events and places you can visit in OC & scroll down to find places just a short drive away! A few things to look for before you plan to go are things like height requirements if you have smaller children.
Also note that some places do have lifts back up the hill while others have stairs or walking paths. Check the weather before you go as your car may need snow chains. Check the various location’s social media for up to date info.

Yeti’s Snow Play at Mountain High Resort
Make it a snow day at Yeti’s Snow Play located at Mountain High Resort. Slide down the tubing lanes, meet the Yeti and his friends, or have lunch at the Grand View Lodge located at 8,200ft. Mountain High also offers skiing and snowboarding, rentals, and lessons.

- TUBING & SLEDDING & SNOW PLAY - Slide down the tubing lanes, meet the Yeti & his friends, or have lunch at the Grand View Lodge located at 8,200ft.
- Remember to dress warmly, bring your gloves, and appropriate shoes.
- A ticket is necessary to be on the snow, attendance is limited so arrive early.
- No outside food or drinks. Personal tubes or sleds are not permitted.
- Children 36″ and taller may tube by themselves. Children 32-36″ must be accompanied by a paid parent in a separate tube.

The park features multiple zones: tubing, climbing, and sledding. Snow tubing and snow play experiences are offered in 90-minute sessions at 9am or 1pm.
Big Bear Snow Play
Big Bear Snow Play sports the longest snow tubing runs in Southern California! There’s also Glow Tubing where the runs are lit up with colored lights after dark. Plus, their Magic Carpet lift means no tiring uphill struggle in the snow! Don’t forget to check out their heated base lodge for the snack bar and games.

Can I buy Snow Play Tickets by Calling? No, BBMR call center agents cannot sell Snow Play tickets. No, personal sleds or inner tubes are not allowed at this time. The Snow Play area will provide a limited amount of snow play items for public use on a first come first served basis. No, dogs are not allowed.

Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain
Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain800 Wildrose Lane, Big Bear LakeThe Magic Mountain Recreation Area in Big Bear Lake is home to the world-famous Alpine Slide - Southern California’s only authentic bobsled experience. Riders navigate their own individually-controlled sleds, down cement tracks filled with high-banked turns and long straightaways. Check out their Mineshaft Coaster, a mountain coaster where you control the speed down a mile long track. There’s also a variety of other attractions including snow tubing.

The Alpine Slide at Magic Mountain, Big Bear Snow Play and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park operate year-round with seasonal snow tubing offered each winter. Experience the magic of snow tubing at night at both Alpine Slide and Big Bear Snow Play! When the sun goes down, the neon lights come on sweeping the slopes with color and an ultra-cool vibe. It's much colder at night so dress in layers for warmth.

Big Bear Mountain Resort
Big Bear Mountain Resort comprises of Bear Mountain, Snow Summit, and Snow Valley. All locations offer skiing and snowboarding trails. Snow tubing and snow play is only offered at Snow Valley and Snow Summit.
- Grizzly Ridge Tube Park (located at Snow Summit), offers four 300-foot tubing lanes and magic carpet to the top. $45 per rider. Riders must be at least 42″ tall and a minimum of 40 lb. Maximum weight to ride is 270 lb. One person per tube.
- Coyote Creek Tube Park (located at Snow Valley), offers six 400-foot tubing lanes and magic carpet to the top. Snow Play is also offered at Snow Valley.
Snow Tubing Rates: Prices range $39-64.
TUBING - Located at Snow Summit, the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park allows you to take a magic carpet to the top of the tube park, then slide down one of the three 300-foot tubing lanes as fast as you can in one of the high-speed tubes.

$20-$29 based on midweek, weekends, holidays, or peak periods. Tickets will be available for same-day purchase at the ticket windows. However, if the area reaches max capacity, Snow Valley has the right to turn off ticket sales at any time.
Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski Area
Get ready for a tube-tastic afternoon at Yosemite's Badger Pass Ski Area! Perfect for kids 42" and taller, snow tubing offers endless fun as your family slides and laughs together. The tubing hill does not have a conveyer belt, so renters will have to carry their tube to the top of the hill. Anticipated operating dates (weather permitting) January - March.

Important Reminders
Snow play outside of tubing hills is permitted on public property including the National Forest, city parks, and picnic areas.
- Sledding near and into streets is extremely dangerous as cars use roadways year-round.
- Sledding or playing on lake ice is both illegal and life threatening.
- Trespassing on private property is illegal at all times.
- Do not leave broken sleds or trash behind in parks, picnic areas, or other National Forest areas.
- Do not use road turnouts for snow play.
